How we can help
NSAA Preparation
We know how best to prepare for the exam
The Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment was introduced in 2016 as a compulsory assessment for all applicants wishing to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge. It is also taken by candidates hoping to study Veterinary Medicine.

The exam is designed to help admissions tutors distinguish between the most capable applicants, so they can decide who to invite for interview. The NSAA is therefore designed to be difficult, and scores above 80% are rare.

The primary skill being tested is the ability to apply knowledge creatively in unfamiliar contexts. In other words, the main aim of the assessment is to test your ability to think.
Everything you need to know is GCSE and A-level material outlined in the specification. It is essential that you know and understand every point. We can help you do this: we teach, test, and expose any gaps.

What makes the NSAA a particular challenge is the limited amount of time you have to complete the questions. It is common not to be able to answer all of them; although, clearly, the aim is to work as quickly as possible.
